Today, we celebrated and thanked Ms. Daley for her incredible 10 years of service at MDPS.
Over the years, Ms. Daley has served our school community as a classroom teacher, DLRT, and Vice Principal, making a lasting impact on countless students, staff, and families. Her kindness, leadership, patience, and dedication have helped shape the strong, caring, and supportive school community we are proud to be part of today.

What makes Ms. Daley truly special is the relationships she has built. She has always taken the time to listen, offer encouragement, celebrate successes, and make everyone feel valued. Her positive attitude, compassion, and commitment to student success have left a lasting impression on our entire school community.

Ms Robinson's Grade 1/2 classroom welcomed Mr O's ELK class for a brief experience in the Grade 1 classroom! With expert guidance from Grade 2 students, the students supported our soon-to-be Grade 1s by playing a math game and then an art activity. Thank you for a great 2025/2026 school year of learning!

The ELKs sixth community visit was to Tim Horton's! They got to go behind the counter to see how the customers are served and went in the back to see where the doughnuts and other food are made. The highlight of this trip is always going into the walk-in freezer! They also enjoyed some delicious Timbits! Thanks Garret and the staff at Tim Horton's for a great community visit!

On the ELKs fifth community visit they went to Foodland! They got a tour of the store, and got to see the different departments where the food is prepared. They were spoiled with treats while they were there including potato wedges and popcorn chicken, watermelon and grapes, a cookie and a popsicle! Thanks Ginger and all the staff! They had a really great time! What great community helpers!

Water Day Reminder!

Just a reminder that MDPS will be having a Water Day tomorrow from 1:30–2:30 p.m. The Fire Department will be joining us with the fire truck and hose for some end-of-year fun!

Please send your child with:
- A towel
- A change of clothes
- Appropriate footwear for getting wet
