Hastings Highlands Centre The official page of the Municipality of Hastings Highlands is monitored Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed from 12:30-1:30pm for lunch.

Hastings Highlands is a rural community with a population of approximately 4,385 that doubles in the summer. Hastings Highlands Centre includes the Municipal Office, the Hastings Highlands Public Library, and Emond Hall - the gymnasium/hall.

ℹ️PLEASE BE ADVISED: Road Construction and Resurfacing is underway starting June 8 2026, on:

🛣️Graphite Road - Between Moxam Rd and Best Rd

🛣️Old Hastings Road - Between the Hwy 62 & Hwy 127 intersection to Old Hastings Rd & Hwy 62 intersection

🛣️Old Welsh Road - Between Musclow-Greenview Rd & East Road Loop

🛣️New Carlow Road - Between East Loop Road to HH Municipal Boundary

🛣️East Loop Road - Between New Carlow Rd & Old Welsh Rd

⚠️🗓️Construction along these roadways is expected to continue until end of July.

ℹ️Motorists should expect traffic delays, with signage in place along the roadway during active construction periods throughout the coming weeks. Motorists must adhere to all posted signage.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: Hastings Highlands Highway 62 will undergo SINGLE LANE closures, daily from 7:00am - 8:00pm starting June 2 until June 5, 2026 for geotechnical engineering review related to future construction projects.

Motorists should expect traffic delays and are encouraged to allow for additional travel time when planning their routes.

Regular updates will be provided to the public as information is received from crews in the field.

⛔No through traffic is permitted during the closure periods.

ℹ️Access to Boulter Road is still available on either side of the closure area via Highway 62 on the north side, and Highway 28 from the south.

⚠️PLEASE BE ADVISED: Rolling closures will happen on Old Hastings Road, from the Hwy 62 & Hwy 127 intersection to the Old Hastings Rd & Hwy 62 intersection, starting June 3 until June 5, 2026 from 8:30a - 4:30p daily while Municipal crews work to prepare for upcoming resurfacing.

⛔⚠️Access is restricted to local traffic only While during the closure periods. Motorists must adhere to all posted signage.

ℹ️Motorists should expect traffic delays, and are encouraged to avoid travel on Old Hastings Road, if possible, during these dates.
