ℹ️ Recent updates to the Electronics Recycling Program in Ontario means property owners in Hastings Highlands can recycle more Electronic Waste Materials than ever before!

✅Eligible Materials include:

- Display Devices (TVs, Monitors, Tablets, E-books)
- Phones (Telephones, Cellular & Smart Phones, Pagers & Accessories)
- Desktop & Portable Computers
- Personal/Portable/Audio/Video Systems
- Kids Electronics, Toys, Robots, RC Toys
- Drones
- Wire & Cabling
- Electronic Automotive Parts
- Power Tools
- Generators
- Light Fixtures & String Lights
- Data Storage Devices
- Home Audio/Video Systems
- Vehicle Audio/ Video Systems (aftermarket)
- Musical Instruments & Recording Equipment
- Computer Peripherals (Routers, Cables, Chargers, USB)
- Clocks & Time Keeping Devices
- Cameras & Security Cameras
- Video Gaming Systems & Peripherals
- Power Supplies & Extension Cords
- Microwave Ovens & Small Appliances (Vacuums Accepted, bags MUST be removed first)
- Lawn & Garden Tools (Mowers, Blowers, Trimmers)
- *Small Bar Fridges (Compressors DO NOT need to be removed) *Full Sized Appliances NOT ACCEPTED
- eBikes & eScooters (Electrical Devices Designed for Both Electrical and Manual Propulsion)
- Lead Acid Batteries (Accepted, providing the Batteries are not recalled, swollen or damaged. This includes car/truck/vehicle batteries.)
- Outdoor Sports Equipment (Game Cameras, Optics, Walkie Talkies Dog Trainers, Fish Finders, GPS)
- Desktop Printing/ Multi-Function Devices, 3D Printers, Printer Cartridges* & Supplies (*No Printer Ink - Cartridges Only)
- IT & Telecom Equipment (Hard Drives, Servers, Microfilm Readers, Binding Machines, Postage Franking Machines & Check Filler Machines)
- Air-Treatment Appliances (Compressors DO NOT need to be removed)

♻️This program is regulated by the Electronics Recycling Program Association (EPRA) in Ontario, and E-Waste Bins are available at all Nine (9) Waste Locations in Hastings Highlands.

The program is delivered by Recycle my Electronics.
