The Miywasin Friendship Centre is a non-profit organization that targets the needs of the Indigenous community in the Medicine Hat area and develops and maintains services to meet those needs. Miywasin offers a variety of programs to the community at large, including Elder’s and youth programming, Indigenous cultural activities and events, housing and counseling support.

Join us for an evening of learning, reflection, and community as a Knowledge Keeper, Warren Winnipeg, shares teachings on Two-Spirit identity, history, roles, and perspectives within Indigenous cultures and traditions.

This session offers an opportunity to deepen understanding, ask questions, and engage in respectful dialogue about gender diversity through an Indigenous lens. Whether you are Two-Spirit, LGBTQIA+, an ally, a community member, or someone interested in learning more, all are welcome.
