As many of our present families know this Friday will be my last day with the Crayon family after almost 16 years. This has been extremely bitter sweet decision but life has blessed me with being able to slow down and work for our family business and also be able to spend time with my soon to be grand baby.
I want to start off by thanking all the past and present families for allowing me to be part of your families and child’s journey and helping you navigate the childcare world. I may not have met all of you face to face as I spent a lot of time behind the scenes but I did spend time with your children popping in and out of each centre over the years.

Every child has left an imprint on my life. Every staff has taught me a new thing or two and I have got to teach each staff a new trick or two in the childcare field over the years.
Many friendships and relationships have been built over the years and will never be forgotten.

Thank you to the team I have helped build as they continue to grow and do amazing things in the centres.

Thank you to all the families and children for allowing me to be involved. I’m excited to watch your kiddos as they continue to grow, learn and move on the new adventures each year through posts and my daycare visits.

Thank you to the Krawiec/Williams family.
Lora took me under her wing almost right out of college and helped me learn the childcare world as this was not the field of schooling I went to college for, or ever thought I would end up. Allowed me to be part of her family and spend a ton of time with her children.
To grandma Dani and papa Jim for taking me in as one of their own children and always looking out for me.

Look forward to bumping into families, children and staff in the city and catching up in the years to come

Oh tonight was a night of emotions, laughter and inspiration. Tinna and I hosted our last staff meeting together after 16 years together. There was lots of input from all staff and much behind the scenes work from Ashton and Alicia.

It just hits different when you stand before an amazing team and family of ladies that have build a daycare together and show up everyday with the best intentions of supporting everyone around them knowing that Tinna, a huge part of our foundation is moving on to her own family.

We have all experienced her love, support, guidance and just her commitment to everyone and every part of her role, we are all wishing her the very best in her future ventures.

As she finishes her last week with us, she is still making memories with us that we will hold forever. She’s been amazing this past month getting us into new roles we are taking on in the administration role she has done for so long and made look easy. It’s not easy, but we are working together as a team to ensure we all navigate this transition as smoothly as possible.
