Federal funding is available to help eligible Prairie businesses respond to tariff-related challenges while investing in long-term growth.

Through the expanded Regional Tariff Response Initiative, businesses may qualify for up to $3 million in non-repayable support, including funding for immediate liquidity needs and projects that improve competitiveness.

Eligible activities may include:

• Equipment upgrades and automation
• Productivity and operational improvements
• Supply-chain diversification
• Export development and new market opportunities
• Support for maintaining operations and employment

For southeast Alberta's manufacturing, agriculture, energy and industrial sectors, programs like this can help businesses adapt to changing market conditions while building a stronger foundation for future growth.

Reminder: We continue to reduce barriers for residents and businesses alike downtown. To facilitate longer, stress-free visits, as it's now possible to park for free for up to 4 hours on the 3rd floor of the Transit Parkade downtown (53 total spots available).

Visit downtown businesses, shops, and restaurants stress-free and take advantage of this centralized parking today. You can find the entrance to the parkade on the 6th Ave side of the complex, just down the block from the Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce offices.

These 4-hour parking spots are available from 8am to 6pm Monday-Friday, with unlimited hours on evenings and weekends.
