On October 15 at 10:15 am, people across British Columbia will take part in the 15th Annual Great BC ShakeOut, the province’s largest earthquake preparedness drill.

Earthquakes can happen without warning. Taking a few minutes to prepare and practice can help keep you, your family, and your community safer.

• Prepare for an earthquake by reviewing your emergency plan and supplies.
• Participate in the earthquake drill by practicing Drop, Cover and Hold On.
• Know what to do in an earthquake so you can act quickly and confidently when it matters most.

Metchosin Clinic Open House! Happening now!

Everyone is invited to come check out the new Phase 1 Metchosin Clinic at the Metchosin Pharmacy tomorrow (Friday, Oct 9) between 9am-12pm. I’ll be there to chat, answer questions, and show off the clinic our community has worked so hard to support.
