Miami Railway Station Museum Opened in 1889, the Miami Railway Station Museum was a busy working station until the 1970's. Open for the season

Today we are a museum that also hosts art shows, and concerts in the summer. The Miami Railway Station was built in 1889 and it still stands on the original site where it served the community until the 1970's. This building was not only a railway station but it was also used as a house for the stationmaster's family. The Station Master was well respected and was regarded as one of the most important individuals in the community. The Station was the hub of all information and goods coming in and out of town. The station was always buzzing and busy even when there was no train.

Today a tour group from the Manitoba Historical Society visited the station! Our staff and volunteers worked hard to ensure that this enthusiastic group of history buffs left with more knowledge than they arrived with!
