On Friday, October 5, we had the pleasure of celebrating the eight organizations receiving Wellness Fund grants this year, hosted by the Old School Community Gathering Place YESS Project. After enjoying a delicious pancake breakfast prepared and served by the YESS students, we gathered to recognize the incredible work being led across our communities to support health, well-being, connection, and belonging.

The celebration provided an opportunity for funded organizations to connect with one another, share their projects, and learn about the positive impact their efforts will have on individuals, families, and communities throughout our region. We are excited to see these projects come to life and grateful for the dedication, creativity, and leadership of the organizations helping make our communities healthier and more vibrant places to live.

Thank you to Scott Armstrong MLA for Colchester/Musquodoboit Valley and HRM Councillor, David Hendsbee for joining us to help celebrate.
