🖼️ FROM LENS TO ART: Behind the Scenes at Bon In Bloom Fine Art Studio ✨

Ever wonder how my travel posters come to life? Today, I’m pulling back the curtain to show you the exact journey a piece takes—from a moment captured on the road to the final print on your wall!

📸 STEP 1: The Creative Eye
Every single travel poster in my shop begins exactly the same way—as an original photograph captured by me during my travels. Whether it be the rugged, breathtaking coastline of the Bay of Fundy, a hummingbird in my garden, or a breathtaking medieval fortress rising like a dream from the sea in France. The composition, the framing, and the story start entirely through my camera lens.

🎨 STEP 2: Reimagining the Vibe
Once I have the raw image, the world-building begins. I start mapping out a signature vintage vision—choosing nostalgic color palettes, or soft pastels or maybe pumping up the dramatic vibrancy. Then comes the planning of the typography layouts to mirror the iconic travel advertisements of the mid-century.

🤖 STEP 3: Bringing the Vision Alive with AI
As many of you know, I love working with traditional paint! However, for this specific travel collection, I wanted to create a distinct, graphic, painterly aesthetic. To do that, I take my original photograph and guide it through professional AI artistry tools using hyper-specific prompts.

The AI doesn't build the image from scratch—it acts as a digital brush, transforming my real, authentic photography into a stylized, vintage work of art.

No paint brushes were used for this particular line—just a blend of original photography, creative design, and cutting-edge tech to bring you a unique slice of wanderlust you won’t find anywhere else!

When I find a product I fall in love with, I definitely want to share it! Linen sprays at Back to our Roots Candles are definitely my new obsession. There are so many scents to choose from, my current favourites are Satsuma and Sweater Weather…which is just around the corner 🍁🍂
