Attached are pics from the Central and Western Canada Regional Meeting held in Mississauga on Saturday July 18th.
It was hosted by the new Toronto Y Service Club and representatives from Y Service Clubs in Midland, Owen Sound, Ottawa and Three Rivers were there, as well as potential new club members from Hamilton.
Most important was the fact that it was the first time we received a visit to our Regional Meeting from the Y's Men International President Rev. Dr. Johan Vilhelm Eltvik and the Y's Men's International Secretary General Jose Varguese who are in Toronto as part of the YMCA World Alliance Conference.
The Midland Y's Men's/Y Service Club was honoured to receive a special Centenary Impact Award presented by the Y's Men's International President Johan and the Y's Men's International Secretary General Jose celebrating the club's 100 years of continuous community service and leadership. Past Midland Club President Rob Heming and Current Vice President Paul Northcott were on hand to receive the award from our International visitors.
