Caught this little beauty on a driveby while heading to Vermont. Gotta love the artistic talents of some individuals.

With help from the Township of Cavan Monaghan, and community donations, The Millbrook Cavan Firefighters Association now has a place to honour our fallen. An opening ceremony will happen in the near future, but I couldn’t help but create a post now that it’s in place. Thank you Grace Monument for putting our vision into reality.

The Millbrook Cavan Firefighters Association will be conducting a Boot Drive in Millbrook this weekend. All funds raised will be going towards a Fallen Firefighters monument that will be placed at Fire Station #1. If you see a firefighter holding a boot at some point this weekend, please support our efforts by dropping in some change. This monument means so much to us, and every little bit helps. Thank you!!

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to a true mentor. Peter was a great friend, firefighter, captain, teacher, golf partner, and so much more to all of us. He was always available to answer questions and help practice our craft. Thank you Pete!

“Hey you, it’s me.”

Here is our friend Benny opening a parcel we sent him at the 1:50 mark. This young man is such an inspiration. Stay strong no matter what and live life to the fullest.
