We have received another great food rescue donation from the Vulcan Regional Food Bank Society, with thanks to Gina Deitz for the delivery:

- Bananas
- Green tomatoes
- Oranges
- Cantaloupe
- Mini sweet peppers
- Taylor Farms Thai style chili mango salad kits
- Tons of corn on the cob!

And we still have some spaghetti squash donated from a local garden last week, and some red tomatoes, bell peppers, and sweet potatoes from the last food rescue delivery.

Come by and help yourself. We're open until 7pm today, 10-5 on Thursday and Friday.

We've received another generous food rescue donation from the Vulcan Regional Food Bank Society, with thanks as always to Gina Deitz for the delivery, and for being our liaison.

We've had another great food rescue donation from the Vulcan Regional Food Bank Society, including:

- Lemons (so many lemons!)
- Donut peaches
- White nectarines
-Green and Coronation grapes
- Taylor Farms Mexican style street corn salad mix
- Earthbound farm organic baby spinach mix
- Inspired greens Prairie picnic blend salad
- Okanagan blueberries

We still have some grape tomatoes, bell peppers, sweet potatoes, and ruby grapefruit from our last delivery.

AND we have a zucchini, some green tomatoes, and egg plant donated by local gardeners.

We've had a colourful food rescue delivery thanks to the Vulcan Regional Food Bank Society, including:

- Big Marble Farms sweet bell peppers
- "Just Veg" large vegetable dipping trays
- Star Ruby grapefruit
- Grape tomatoes

And from the last delivery, we still have some sweet potatoes, and locally grown zucchini.

Come by hand help yourself! We're open til 7.

PS - And a reminder to local gardeners that if you have extra produce, you can drop it off at the library and we'll coordinate with the Vulcan Regional Food Bank Society to have it distributed where it's most needed in the area.

Calling all local gardeners!

If you’ve grown more food than you can use, you can help feed your community by donating at Milo Library. With help from the Vulcan Regional Food Bank Society we'll get your produce to a lucky neighbour’s dinner table, whether right here in town, or out in the county.

Pop by with your donation any Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, and we’ll take it from there, with many thanks!

We've just received a bonus food rescue donation from the Vulcan Regional Food Bank Society, including:

- All butter croissants
- Cherry tomatoes
- Dempster's "The Gold Bun" sausage buns
- Highline white mushrooms
- Windset Farms roma tomatoes
- Big Marble Farms grape tomatoes

And we still have zuccinni, Cobs focaccia Italian herb loaf, Cobs pizza base, Sea salt and black pepper Turkish, and plenty of sweet potatoes.

We're open til 7 tonight - come by and help yourself.
