An annex is added to a building to create additional space. Paul’s is about making new space for exploring the way of the creator, divine, your spirit, and about helping people find make space within their own lives, homes, families and communities to connect with each other's version of God. The Annex was launched in 2009 as a partnership project between Halton Presbytery and St. Paul’s United Ch
urch, to better connect with the young families, couples and singles living and working in Milton. As part of the life and ministry of St. Paul’s, we have the best of two worlds; depth, stability, wisdom and strength from the main congregation, and also the freedom to learn, experiment and try things new. We mine ancient Christian Traditions, current events, modern ideas, and contemporary culture, to help us find the insights to interpret and apply the teachings of Scripture to our lives and world today (and vice versa). The Annex service worships on Sunday morning at the same time as the whole of St. Paul’s on the upper level of 123 Main Street through contemporary worship music, engaging conversations, kids activities, and of course, good coffee. We’re a community of friends seeking to support each other as we all learn what it means to follow Jesus through and in our often hectic lives as parents, spouses, children, bankers, teachers, coaches, and all the other hats we find ourselves wearing.
