Through our Power in Every Period Campaign, we raised awareness about menstrual health and raised $1,252, enough to support 83 menstruators for an entire month.
This impact means greater access to essential menstrual products, helping reduce barriers, promote dignity and support the health and well-being of individuals in our community.

June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada, a time dedicated to acknowledging the rich history, cultures, resilience, and diversity of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. Today, June 21st, is National Indigenous Peoples Day, a meaningful occasion for everyone to recognize and honour the remarkable heritage, diverse cultures, and significant contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. Many Indigenous peoples and communities have celebrated their culture and heritage on or near this day for generations, aligning with the summer solstice, which marks the longest day of the year.

To honour Indigenous History Month this year, MCRC has been sharing "The Sharing Circle" in the original book version and board book version with our school-age groups and ELCs. "The Sharing Circle" was written by a Cree/Danish Metis Elder who shares the Indigenous tradition of a sharing circle, used so that everyone may share their perspectives and thoughts without judgment.

What an incredible day for our All 4 Her! Together, our community showed up with more than 300 runners, walkers and supporters making this event unforgettable.

Because of you, we didn’t just meet our goal…we exceeded it, raising over $25,700! That means 250 girls will now have access to 20 free She Can! programs and opportunities that build confidence, leadership and a strong sense of belonging.
