Mission
The mission of the Cadet Program is to contribute to the development and preparation of youth for the transition to adulthood, enabling them to meet the challenges of modern society, through a dynamic community-based program

The aim of the Cadet Program is to develop in youth the attributes of good citizenship and leadership, promote physical fitness and stimulate the interest of youth in

the sea, land and air activities of the Canadian Forces. Description
2990 Lorne Scots is an army cadet corps in Milton, Ontario. Army Cadets is a FREE national program for young Canadians aged 12 to 18 who are interested in participating in a variety of fun, challenging and rewarding activities while learning about the army activities of the Canadian Forces. Exciting news from Blackdown CTC. Our very own RSM Smintich was appointed the cadet RSM for Blackdown Cadet Training Centre for this summer. This is quite the achievement as Blackdown is the largest Cadet Training Centre in Canada. He was one of only a select few staff cadets chosen to complete Board interviews for Senior Leadership positions and his leadership, training and experience shone through. Bravo Zulu RSM!!

🌺LEST WE FORGET 🌺…Today is the 82nd Anniversary of D Day…On June 6, 1944, approximately 14,000 Canadian soldiers spearheaded the Allied assault on the 8-kilometer stretch of the Normandy coast codenamed "Juno Beach"…Supported by 110 Royal Canadian Navy ships and 15 Royal Canadian Air Force squadrons, Canadian troops successfully penetrated heavily defended enemy lines and pushed further inland than any other Allied force that day…🌺LEST WE FORGET 🌺

Today is the day! 2990 Lorne Scots is holding our 43rd Annual Ceremonial Review at the Milton Sports Centre Rink D. All are welcome to join us to celebrate the successes of the cadets over the past training year. Guests are asked to arrive at 1300 hrs for parade step off promptly at 1320 hrs. We will see you there!!
