Subject: Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians Information Session for Residents in the April 2026 Flooding Activation Areas on October 14th

Homeowners and tenants in the designated activation areas for the Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians (DRAO) program who experienced flooding from the overflow of lakes, rivers, or creeks in April 2026 are invited to attend a virtual information session with DRAO program staff to learn more about the program.

Date: October 14, 2026
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Microsoft Teams Virtual Session

This activation applies to flooding resulting from the overflow lakes, rivers, or creeks in parts of the following municipalities:

• Township of Minden Hills (Gull River)

Session Information
During this session, eligible applicants will learn more about the DRAO program and application process, including eligibility requirements, required documentation, what to expect during the review process, and available supports. A question-and-answer period will follow the presentation.

Operation Full Plate was a huge success!
Over the weekend, members were out at our Minden and Haliburton locations collecting donations for local food banks.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we collected:
🥫 1,610 lbs of food
💵 $905.80 in cash donations

All donations will be shared between the Minden and Haliburton food banks, helping support individuals and families right here in our communities.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by and donated. Your generosity and support make a difference in our community!^ra💙
