The Power of Connection at Community Outreach Sessions ⭐️

At Community Mobile Outreach sessions, we welcome community members with snacks, refreshments, and the chance to learn about local supports.

Our teams from multiple local agencies can assist folks on the spot and refer them to another service at the same table - no waiting days for referrals through emails or phone calls.

Service providers on site support a wide range of needs, including mental and physical health, housing, food, hydro assistance, health check-ins and more.

Being out in public spaces also sparks unexpected connections including with concerned family members and friends looking to support loved ones.

✨ Sometimes referrals happen not just between agencies, but directly with community members - linking people to jobs, rentals, and other opportunities. ✨

For someone facing life’s challenges, this kind of support can be dignifying, stabilizing, and even life-changing. We are all stronger when we come together as a community - and at these sessions, we see that firsthand.

➡️ If you’re struggling, please know that you are always welcome at sessions held across Haliburton County.
