Hey all...we have a food truck coming to the library parking lot on June 12 from 11am-5pm. Come on out and enjoy a delicious sandwich off Sullivan's menu. Library staff will be out there selling the last of our raffle tickets. Fingers crossed for some nice weather. Mark it on your calendar now! Sullivans Food Truck

Minnedosa Library is honored to have received a Lego Braille Bricks kit from the Lego Foundation. What is it you ask?...

"LEGO Braille Bricks is a play-based conceptual tool to teach braille to blind and visually impaired children. The toolkit comprises of LEGO bricks that have been adjusted to correspond to the braille alphabet. Each LEGO brick also features a printed letter or character to ensure the tool is inclusive allowing sighted teachers, students and family members to interact on equal terms with the blind or visually impaired child.
The LEGO Braille Bricks toolkit is accompanied by a pedagogical concept that builds on a learning through play approach and also includes inspiration for socially interactive activities with the bricks."

Any local families or teachers interested in playing and learning with this kit are welcome to inquire at the library.

Minnedosa Library is still selling tickets on this amazing raffle. For a $10.00 ticket you can win an outdoor fire pit with grill and a $500.00 meat package for all your summer grilling. Your support means the world to us, and every dollar goes back into Library programming and purchases.
