Cat Therapy and Rescue Society A registered charity, specializing in special needs/surrendered/abandoned cats at risk of euthanasia. We are located in the greater Vancouver area.

Cat Therapy and Rescue Society is a registered charity with Canada Revenue Agency. The rescue takes in cats that are turned away from other shelters due to a lack of space or to be euthanized, we work closely with other rescues and also take in abandoned cats off the streets. Our goal is to help save lives and put them in forever loving homes and to fix as many cats as we can to prevent the unnece

ssary overpopulation. All cats being adopted out are fixed and vetted beforehand or on an agreement when they are of age.

Can you help Snow White?

She is part of a large intake we took in this past Sunday of many cats from various shelters that were at risk of euthanasia

She sadly needed to have an eye removed due to it being enlarged and having a lot of pressure and unfortunately her remaining eye is pretty scarred, but she still has some vision.

We can only imagine what this poor girl went through before coming to us, but it is evident that she had a terrible eye infection that caused major scarring on her eyes, causing permanent damage and blindness.

We heavily rely on the kindness of our supporters to be able to say yes to cats like this that need extra medical care to give them their second chance. ❤️

UPDATE!
Although we didn’t reach our fundraising goal we raised enough to get him x-rays, neutered, and all of his medical up-to-date.

Our surgeon insisted to give him some time in foster care to see how he learns to manage. When we first got him, we weren’t sure if he was in discomfort as he didn’t want to walk around, but we think it just took a little bit of love and care and comfort in his foster home to show us how capable he truly is

He is now looking for a family ❤️

Can you help Lieutenant Dan?

This poor young boy was rescued by good samaritan locally. He has very painful back stumps covered in scabs for his back legs which urgently need surgery so that he can live a pain-free life.

Right now, he has a lot of trouble going in the litter box or even getting around an even cries out when he tries to use his back leg stumps 😿

He is only about five months old and has a long life ahead of him and we’d like to give him the chance of a pain-free life so that he can find a loving family but we need your help! We don’t know the exact cost of surgery yet but need to raise at least $2000 to be able to book him in.
