Cat Therapy and Rescue Society A registered charity, specializing in special needs/surrendered/abandoned cats at risk of euthanasia. We are located in the greater Vancouver area.

Cat Therapy and Rescue Society is a registered charity with Canada Revenue Agency. The rescue takes in cats that are turned away from other shelters due to a lack of space or to be euthanized, we work closely with other rescues and also take in abandoned cats off the streets. Our goal is to help save lives and put them in forever loving homes and to fix as many cats as we can to prevent the unnecessary overpopulation. All cats being adopted out are fixed and vetted beforehand or on an agreement when they are of age.

Can you help William?

I know we just finished fundraising for Tuddie who needed double eye enucleation BUT we got another request to help a 6 month old kitten listed to be euthanized needing the same surgery 😭

I know we are asking alot but if we don’t try then he won’t get a second chance ❤️

FUNDS RAISED 🎉🎉🎉 he’s getting surgery Friday

Can you help Tuddie?

Tuddie was a transfer from another shelter that said they would have to euthanize him due to the surgery needs he had and adoptability being blind 😿

He is the sweetest gentleman and sadly has some painful eyes that need to be removed. We have him booked into the vet for a week from today with a surgeon, but desperately need to raise $1000 for his surgery 🙏

Please regularly check your cats nails. They should be trimmed if indoors.

Poor Sasha came to us with a horribly ingrown nail in her foot. It welt so deep causing a large would and infection that needed surgery to repair.

We have seen many cats especially senior cats with nails grown into their feet.

This swet girl will be up for adoption soon, she is sadly one of many cats wothout a foster home to recover in. 😿

Thank you Tisol Pet Nutrition & Supply Stores for their amazing donation from the PAW event! 🎉

It went direct to paying off an even larger Vet bill 😳

We are so thankful for those who support us and make saving lives possible.

In 2025 our total vet expenses were $293,590.56 and this year are likely to surpass that 😿
