MDSCHA has a goal to attract and retain seniors within the Mission community and support them as their needs change. Many improvements and upgrades have been made to Welton Towers and there are exciting plans for the future. Fostering good tenant relationships is very important in the successful operation of Welton Towers. The MDSCHA Board meets regularly for a review tenant and operation needs to ensure Welton Towers continues to provide a valuable service to our community.

The new build beside Welton Towers removed our hedge for construction. Our tenant support made contact with the construction manager and had garden beds put in that will soon be finished and filled with soil, for our tenants to grow their vegetables and flowers for bouquets. The tenants are super excited to get growing. Next week we are removing roots and weeds!

The Mission Twilight Concert Series is a FREE weekly family friendly concert hosted by the City of Mission.

Rain or shine, the series runs from July 2 through August 27, every Wednesday night at 7 PM, located in the Fraser River Heritage Park. Come check out a full roster of musicians from a large variety of musical genres playing this summer - don't forget your chair or blanket and enjoy the show!

Mountain views provide the perfect backdrop for this summer's incredible performers. The dedicated Special Olympic volunteers will expertly handle your parking needs while the Blackberry Kitchen offers delicious goodies to enjoy while you watch the show, courtesy of the canteen.

These evenings have been brought to you by the City of Mission, Stepping Stone Music Co. and A&D Sound and Stage Productions. Sponsors include What's On Magazine and the Mission Folk Music Festival.
