In this role, you’ll:
🏢 Maintain and monitor building automation systems across PRP facilities
⚙️ Diagnose software, hardware and HVAC control issues
💻 Program, test and commission BAS controllers and software
🔌 Work with systems using BACnet, Modbus and TCP/IP
🔐 Support BAS network security and integration with critical systems
📊 Analyze equipment performance and identify energy-saving opportunities
🤝 Work with internal teams, contractors and vendors on installations and upgrades

What you bring:
• Building Systems Engineering Technician diploma or equivalent experience
• Niagara 4 Technical Certification
• 5+ years of hands-on BAS/direct digital controls experience
• 3+ years of HVAC design or servicing experience
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills
• Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence

💰 Salary: $74,183 – $124,990

🎖️ From the Reserves to Peel Regional Police

For Constable Grgas, the transition from the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves to policing felt like finding another home.

In this video, he shares how the skills developed through military service, from dress and deportment to professionalism, discipline and leadership transferred seamlessly into his career with Peel Regional Police.

He also speaks about how his military experience helped prepare him to become a Coach Officer, while the training and internal support networks at Peel helped make his own transition into policing a smooth one.

If you're a current or former member of the Canadian Armed Forces, including the Reserves, your experience matters. The skills you've developed through service can translate directly into a career in policing.
