Yesterday, Mayor Carolyn Parrish, Councillors Councillor Natalie Hart, Stephen Dasko, Chris Fonseca, Joe Horneck, Matt Mahoney and Brad Butt joined the Malton BIA, veterans, donors, historians, residents and Avro Arrow enthusiasts at the Flight Garden in Paul Coffey Park to celebrate the unveiling of a new permanent historical icon.

The Avro Arrow was a supersonic interceptor aircraft designed and built in Canada in the 1950s. Widely considered one of the most advanced aircraft of its time, it remains an enduring symbol of Canadian innovation and engineering excellence.

Stop by the Flight Garden and experience this iconic piece of history for yourself.

The Arrow has landed in Malton!

Tonight, we officially unveiled a replica of the Avro Arrow CF-105 at the Flight Garden in Paul Coffey Park.

Designed and built in Malton in the 1950s, the Avro Arrow is an important part of Mississauga’s aviation and innovation history.

The permanent replica will help preserve the story of this groundbreaking Canadian aircraft.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this special piece of Malton’s history.

Starting September 7, to better serve customer patterns and needs, Route 110 University Express will run more often on weekdays and weekends between City Centre Transit Terminal and Clarkson GO Station.

As part of this change, Route 110A University Express will be discontinued, with service merging with Route 110 University Express route.
