Hey everyone! We’re pleased to share that the Animal Aid Foundation’s annual grants process is now open. If your organization is a registered animal charity in Ontario, you may be eligible to apply for funding.

Our Funding Priorities

This year, we are focusing support on:
• Spay/neuter programs for dogs and cats
• TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) programs for community cats

Who Can Apply

Before requesting an application, please review our Grants Policy & Qualifying Criteria. Key requirements include:
• Must be a registered Canadian charity (CRA charitable registration number required)
• Must have completed one full year of operation and filed a full annual return
• Individuals and for-profit organizations are not eligible

Funding Details

• Eligible charities may apply for up to 5% of their annual operating budget
• Priority consideration is given to organizations that:
– Are 100% volunteer-run
– Have an annual operating budget under $100,000
– Operate within the communities where funds were raised

Please note: Grants are strictly for spay/neuter initiatives. We are unable to fund emergency care, supplies, capital expenses, or technology.

Important Dates

• Applications available: September 30 – December 30
• Completed applications due: January 31
• Late or incomplete applications cannot be considered
