The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's assistance to help identify an individual involved in an aggravated assault which occurred in Moncton, N.B.

On May 5, 2026, at approximately 2:45 a.m., the Codiac Regional RCMP received a report of an assault outside of a business on Main Street, in Moncton. The victim sustained a broken nose, and the suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Police are now releasing surveillance footage photos in hopes that, despite the quality, someone may recognize the individual who is described as a man with a slim build, black hair that is just above shoulder length, and a tattoo on his right shoulder.

Anyone who recognizes the individual in the photos, or who has information that may help further the investigation, is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's help locating a missing 16-year-old girl from Moncton, N.B.

Emma Weisshuhn was last seen on July 27, 2026, near Parkdale Drive in Moncton. She was reported missing to police on the same day. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate her but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and her family are concerned for her wellbeing.

Emma Weisshuhn is described as being approximately five feet one inch (155 centimetres) tall and weighing approximately 135 pounds (61 kilograms). She has green eyes, and red hair. She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and pink pants.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400.
