De Souche is a participatory research-creation project at the Milieux Speculative Life Biolab at Concordia University, directed by Thomas Heinrich (BFA Design) and Larissa Zemke (MDes candidate) in partnership with the Sustainability Action Fund, the Fine Arts Student Alliance and the Lake Lovering Conservation Society. The project will work with communities affected by the proliferation of Eurasi

an milfoil in Quebec in order to produce a biomaterial that can benefit them and their efforts to fight the spread of milfoil. De Souche est un project de recherche-création au Speculative Life Biolab de l'Institut Milieux à l'Université Concordia dirigé par Thomas Heinrich (BFA en Design) et Larissa Zemke (candidate Mdes), en partenariat avec le Sustainability Action Fund, le Fine Arts Student Alliance et la Société Conservation du Lac Lovering. Le projet opère étroitement avec des communautés touchées par la propagation du myriophylle à épis au Québec afin qu'un que la production d'un biomatériau soit bénéfique envers eux et leur lutte contre le myriophylle.
