🚙❤️ : Van Life with Pitou – The Road to Montreal’s ’76 Games by librarian Jacquelyn Sundberg.
"Can you think of a more unique way to spread the message of Montreal and the Olympic spirit worldwide than by the power of a Volkswagen camper van named “Pitou”? Louise and Philip Wronski set out to do just that in 1971, planning a goodwill “Route Olympique” across more than 85 countries, five continents, and 210,000 km...Their story, additional archival documents, and many more stories from Montreal’s 1976 Olympic Games are on display in the exhibition on the ground floor of the McClennan Library Building: Olympic Summer ; Stories from Beyond the Podium. Free and open to visitors all summer during building hours. Explore their story for yourself!"
