This morning, between 8:30am and 12:00pm there will be a mutual aid training scenario with Moore’s Mills, Western Charlotte Volunteer Fire Department and Lawerence Station Fire Departments happening in the Oakhill area. Please use caution if you are travelling in the area between the intersection of Route 745 and Lynnfield Rd and the old Ski Hill.

Good catch by the Landfill staff.

A discarded drone caught fire this morning at the landfill when it got crushed. Quick thinking staff removed it before anything else caught. A reminder that anything with rechargeable batteries is a fire hazard and does not go in the trash.
