All residents are encouraged to fill out the forms.

The pre-event evacuation process for vulnerable community members has now been initiated.

Flights are expected to begin on Monday, April 20, 2026, starting as early as 9:00 a.m., but this is not yet confirmed and may change.

If you have registered as part of the vulnerable population, staff will be contacting you using the information you provided. When contacted, you will receive your specific travel details and instructions.

At this time, we ask that you begin preparing for evacuation. Please have your essential belongings ready.

Baggage Allowance:

Carry-on baggage is limited to 15 Ibs per person.

Checked luggage is limited to 40 Ibs per person. Please ensure your essential items are packed in your carry-on, including:

• Medications
• Identification
• Bank cards
• Phone and charger

Staff will continue to provide updates and support as they reach out to each individual and household.

Important - Registration Requirement:

Due to the potential risk of flooding, all residents of Moose Factory Island are required to complete the evacuation registration. This is necessary to support community safety planning, emergency response coordination, and to ensure appropriate supports are in place for all households.
