A Quick Update on Our Gravel Roads!

It has been a very long time since we've seen a massive 3+ inch rainfall like the one we just had! While the landscape certainly needed a drink, heavy downpours always leave our gravel roads looking a bit like a swimming pool 🏊‍♂️—making things slippery, muddy, and tough to travel on.

We completely understand how frustrating and messy these road conditions are, and we want you to know we are on it! Our graders and gravel crews are fully prepped and ready to roll out the second things begin to dry.

A quick note on why we have to wait for it to dry: Running heavy graders or spreading fresh gravel on deep, saturated mud can actually ruin the road base and create even worse ruts. Waiting for the right moisture level lets us fix it correctly so the repairs actually stick!

Your safety and peace of mind are super important to us. If you have any specific concerns, complaints, or severe trouble spots to report, please reach out directly to our Public Works team. We're always here to listen and help!
