The Jordan's Principle Program is designed to help children and their families. This is a needs-based service. Jordan's Principle is a child-first principle that applies equally to all First Nations children, whether resident on or off-reserve. It is not limited to First Nations children with disabilities or children with medical care needs, but focuses on a child's physical, mental, emotional, sp

iritual and cultural needs. Anishinaabeg of Naongashiing provides the service of completing group and individual applications. We will prioritize based on need, but will try our best to help everyone as best we can. If we cannot help, we will appoint you in the right direction. First Nations Child and Family Services and Jordan's Principle Settlement Claims Helpers are here at the Administration building in the downstairs boardroom today for anyone needing assistance with their claims. They will do one to one for people who have not yet submitted their claims. 10:00am to 4:00pm. This is for the Removed Child Class and Removed Child Family Class settlement.
