✨This summer the Assembly of First Nations held their 2026 Annual Assembly in Ottawa

📣Community Recreation Centre Update

🚧We’re excited to share that this summer Fitzgerald & Snow began the initial groundwork for our new Community Recreation Centre.

🔨This exciting project will see a major expansion of the existing Abegweit Connects building, creating a new multi-use community space designed to support recreation, wellness, culture, connection, and community programming.

✅ Once complete, the expanded facility will create new opportunities for community members, neighbouring communities, and the greater public to come together through events, programs, services, recreation, and community initiatives.

🚧We’re excited to see this project take its first steps and look forward to sharing more updates as construction progresses! ✨
