🍔 Fire up the grill—it’s burger time! 🍔

The Muenster Public Library is hosting its Annual Burger Sale Fundraiser, and you won't want to miss it! Skip packing a lunch and come enjoy a delicious meal while supporting a great cause right in our community.

📅 Event Details:
When: Thursday, June 11

Time: 11:45 AM – 1:30 PM

Where: The Pole Shed (James Korte Field)

🥖 On the Menu:
Get a juicy cheeseburger, a refreshing drink, and your choice of a sweet treat (puffed wheat or Rice Krispie square)!

Meal Deal: $8.00 (Includes Cheeseburger, Drink, and a Square)

Just the Burger: $6.00

📚 Eating for a Cause:
All proceeds from this year's fundraiser directly support our TD Summer Reading Program, helping keep local kids engaged, learning, and reading all summer long!

🍔 VOLUNTEERS & TREATS NEEDED: June 11th Burger Sale! 🍔
Our upcoming Burger Sale fundraiser is just around the corner on Thursday, June 11th, and we could use a little community teamwork to make it a delicious success!

As the saying goes, many hands make light work! Here is how you can help support the Muenster Public Library:

🙋‍♂️ 1. Lend a Hand (Time)
We are looking for volunteers to help us out at the Pole Shed between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

You do not need to stay the whole time! Whether you can spare an hour or a few, any time you can give is deeply appreciated.

🥣 2. Donate a Sweet Treat (Squares)
We are looking for donations of homemade squares to sell alongside our burgers! Specifically, we need:

Puffed Wheat Squares

Rice Krispie Squares

Muenster Public Library stands with the Moose Hide Campaign—a grassroots movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous men and boys who are standing up against violence towards women and children.

To honor this vital day (May 14) of healing, decolonization, and solidarity, we are highlighting these powerful and essential stories available at the library:

🪶 The Medicine of Peace: Indigenous Youth Decolonizing, Healing and Resisting Violence by Jeffrey Paul Ansloos – A crucial look at how Indigenous youth are disproportionately affected by violence and the justice system in Canada, offering a path forward rooted in healing and resistance.
