I chose the garden over people.
Not because I don’t love people, but because sometimes the garden offers what the world cannot.
Here, the bees don’t care about status, opinions, or expectations. The flowers bloom when they’re ready. The honeybees work together without needing recognition. Everything simply exists as it was meant to.
The garden reminds me to slow down, pay attention, and find joy in small things—a new blossom, a busy pollinator, the hum of a hive on a warm summer evening.
And honestly? That’s a kind of wealth all its own.
