Thanks to support from Columbia Basin Trust and United Way BC, we are expanding a regular route for medical appointments in Trail. Options to pick up clients enroute from Nakusp through Slocan, Castlegar and on to Trail. First trip is planned for September 14th. ASLCS is seeking drivers for our volunteer* driver programs. Your vehicle OR our 2026 Toyota Sienna Hybrid. Flexible and on call (with plenty of notice) OR a regular, predictable route. Local rides only OR out of town trips. Please reach out if you are available and interested in helping local seniors reach their important medical appointments - we have needs as early as this week.

Believe it or not, hockey season is just around the corner. The Return it Forward program is proud to announce Nakusp Minor Hockey U-18 team is the next recipient of our bottle sorting fundraiser. All returnables dropped off before September 2nd will go towards another great season of minor hockey.

Return it Forward is pleased to announce Summit Lake Racers will be sorting bottles on June 4th. Proceeds from all bottles donated support their coach training and other team developments.

Our New Hybrid Sienna is travelling to the Okanagan for medical appointments - currently travelling the second and fourth Wednesday of every month.
Next trips - May 13, May 27, June 10 and June 24.
