Last night the Nampa Municipal Library Board and the Friends of the Library Society hosted Cathy Armstrong and her daughter Katie, at TJ’s restaurant to celebrate Cathy’s retirement. Cathy was presented with a plaque showing our appreciation of her dedicated service to the library and the community over the last 28 years. Other gifts were also presented. It was an enjoyable evening!

The second photo is the plaque, made by Cam Girard, that is now installed by the genealogy section in the library. It shows Cathy’s love of genealogy and our appreciation of her years as librarian at the Nampa Municipal Library.

Some of you might have noticed that our library has had a little facelift lately! Some of our windows and one of our doors are brightly decorated with a library theme! Thank you Sarah for doing such beautiful work!
