When placing shredded paper in your Curbside Recycling Cart, please contain it in a paper bag or a small paper-based box to prevent it from blowing away during collection and sorting. Great options include paper take-out bags, cereal boxes, or shoe boxes. Then simply place the filled bag or box in your recycling cart!⁠

🥾Attention Mount Benson Trail Users 🥾

Work is now underway to repair trail erosion in Mount Benson Regional Park. This project will repair a 500-metre eroded section of Gordie’s Trail, a 400-metre eroded section of Rafe’s Way and will improve drainage to help prevent future erosion.

📅Work is expected to continue to mid-November. During construction, visitors can expect to see signs of active construction including exposed soil and excavator tracks.

Tomorrow (October 15) is the Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill. Get involved and talk about your emergency plan, whether it's for work, school or at home.
