UPDATE: It is looking like the water will be on around midnight.

We have a water main break on Woobank. The crew is working on isolating the leak and once they do, the houses from Southborough to Starling will have no water. Updates will be provided as we get more information.

Meeting packages will be available on the website and for pick up at the office Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

Elections will be held for two (2) Trustee positions all with terms ending in 2029. The nomination period is April 1-15, 2026. If the District receives 3 or more nominations for the 2 positions, an election will be held at the Annual General Meeting.

The nomination period closed on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 4:00 pm. As the District did not receive enough nominations to fill the positions, the nomination period will be opened for another 3 day period.

In accordance with Policy 92-10 Elections Policy and Procedures. Two (2) Trustee positions, all for 3 year terms, are to be voted upon at the Annual General Meeting to be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 6:00pm.

Candidates must declare their willingness to stand as a trustee by completing a Nomination Form and Declaration of Candidate Form and submitting it to the District office by 4:00 pm on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. The nomination form must be signed by one (1) registered elector. Forms can be submitted at the office or left in the after-hour’s mailbox outside the NCID office. Candidate packages will be available for pick-up at the District office or online at the district website www.ncid.ca under Administration / Bylaws and Policies.

If the District receives 3 or more nominations for the 2 trustee positions, an election will be held at the Annual General Meeting to fill two (2) Trustee position, with a term ending 2029.

UPDATE: Flushing was delayed due to weather so it continues this week (Feb 23 - 27) and next week (March 2 - 5). You might experience some low pressure for a few hours when they are in your neighbourhood and remember to run your cold tap to clear any cloudiness.

NOTICE TO ALL WATER USERS

Water Main Flushing February 17, 2026 to February 27, 2026

As part of our ongoing program to provide quality water, please be advised that the district will be flushing the water mains February 17 to 27, 2026 between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm. Please watch for the signs in your area.

Should you experience water discolouration during flushing, running a cold water tap for a short period of time will help to restore water quality back to normal.

Lantern Road / Holden Corso Road Watermain Project

**Notice to Residents**

From Thursday September 25, 2025 to Monday September 29, 2025 – Paving

On Thursday September 25, 2025 the contractor will begin preparations for paving on Holden Corso Road, in the area where the new watermain and services have been installed. The actual paving is scheduled for Monday September 29, 2025 .

During this period, please anticipate delays on Holden Corso Road, particularly in the S bend area. We appreciate your understanding and patience as the District works to improve infrastructure.
