This page is meant for discussion between the members of the Nanaimo Ladysmith NDP Electoral District Association on the subjects of public policy, strategy, and social justice in general consistency with the social democratic principles of the New Democratic Party of Canada. We ask you to remember that while we may not agree on all things, that we do agree on enough to move us together in solidar

ity to affect positive change in our country. To help better achieve this in regards to the decorum on this page it is vital that we follow a few rules.

•Abuse, bullying, racism, homophobia, defamation, harassment, derogatory language or behaviour, sexism, offensive language/swearing, menacing or offensive behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in banishment from the page.
•Keep comments relevant to the post. Questionable posts will be queried for relevance from the author. If the post can not be adequately defended the post shall be deleted.
•Any SPAM or advertising content shall be deleted and repeat offenders will be banned.
•Any repeat or replica of an existing comment, image or video shall be deleted.
•While we don’t want to stifle debate nor do we want to scare off new participants with repetitive and monochromatic topic selection.
•If an administrator suspects inflammatory behaviour such as "trolling" or the use of "sock puppets" to frustrate natural discussions the admins will at their discretion ban the offending profile.

We join our movement in mourning the loss of Stephen Lewis. Stephen leaves behind a legacy that will not be forgotten. He has made a lasting impact on New Democrats, and we will long remember his wisdom and his tireless drive to better our world and our country.

Together, in his honour, we will continue to fight to advance his goals of social justice, diplomacy, and social democracy. We are sending our love and thoughts to his family during this time.
