Thank You FortisBC!🔥

Big shout out to Fortis BC for supplying our training facility with a demonstration gas meter!! The facility, located on Nanoose Bay Fire Department property is a joint venture with Lantzville Fire Rescue. This facility provides a safe, controlled and realistic environment to develop specialized firefighting skills. Props like the gas meter enable firefighters to practice high risk scenarios. Thank you to the Regional District of Nanaimo, Fortis, Lantzville Fire Rescue, all our partners in training and Deputy Chief Denis Holme of the NBFD for all your efforts!!🚒🧯

Team Springford Farm and Team Red Gap competed hard to raise money for their respective teams and win the coveted Golden Apple. It’s too early to tell, but at least one team is confident.

Until next year!
