At Community Living L&A we assist people who are developmentally disabled leading the way for inclusion by encouraging meaningful participation within the comm

unity through volunteerism, social opportunities and gainful employment. Our mission is to create diversity within our local community and to Inspire Possibilities. This is a cause we have passionately pursued since our beginnings. At CLL&A we continue to effect change by creating a positive influence of acceptance and broadening the true experience of Community Living. We also have a small retail outlet, The Hub at 27 Dundas Street West, which showcases the artwork, jewelry, woodworking and baked goods of our supported individuals and the local community.

A BIG THANK YOU to the Community Foundation for Lennox & Addington for awarding a grant this week to Community Living Lennox & Addington (CLLA)! This grant specifically supports the SHARING OPPORTUNITIES TO CREATE Fund, a partnership between CLLA and A Loveleigh Place, providing art workshops AT NO COST to adults from CLLA this year! These workshops foster creativity, community and friendships, learning about different mediums, build new skills, and are a wonderful outlet for personal expression. This partnership is in its second year and has been made possible by two grants from the Community Foundation! It's WORLD OCEAN DAY! Did you know that Canada has the longest coastline in the world?

Fiona enjoyed her visit to Ripley's Aquarium in May where she was able to enjoy a close up view of ocean life. Seems like the perfect day for a repost of her adventure!!!
