I usually love hot weather, but the wildfire smoke has been so intense and the air quality in my area is some of the worst in the world.
Poppy and I have been hiding inside with the air purifier. Her middle name is Summer-Rain and boy, we sure could use some!
Anyways, dreaming of fresh air, orange leaves, and lots of Yarrow mugs. 🍂🌼☕

The profits of my next mini restock will go towards clay and glaze materials! My studio is pretty much depleted atm.
After supplies arrive I'll be snatching a couple hours here and there between momming to build my stock back up!

Raffle For Old Growth!

I am so deeply saddened by British Columbia's current government's attitude towards logging old-growth forests.

I will be raffling off this vase and donating the proceeds to The Wilderness Committee,
whose campaigns are dedicated to preserving wilderness, protecting wildlife, defending parks, safeguarding public resources, and fighting for a healthy climate.
The Wilderness Committee currently has among many, a movement to protect old-growth rain forests.

"We are calling on the BC government to ban the logging of the remaining ancient forests. All forests in BC grow on the lands of Indigenous Nations, so any solutions to protect them must center Indigenous rights and justice for Indigenous peoples."

I am hopeful that in the future my child will have the privilege to see, breathe the fresh air, and enjoy the magic of old-growth forests as I have done. ✨🤱🌲
