We have homemade Corsi-Rosenthal air filter box available for anyone who could use one.
Corsi-Rosenthal boxes are simple DIY air cleaners made with a box fan and air filters to help improve indoor air quality.

Every day, the Kootenay Seniors Transportation Program helps older adults get to medical appointments, grocery stores, social activities, and other important destinations.

FREE Webinar for Older Drivers: Understanding Driver Assessments

Are you approaching age 80 or 85 and wondering what to expect with driver assessments? This free virtual workshop will provide an overview of RoadSafetyBC's Medical Assessment process and ICBC's Enhanced Road Assessment, including when assessments may be required and how they help determine medical fitness and driving safety.

Designed with senior drivers in mind, this informative session is open to drivers of all ages.

Seniors Social Meal today!
We served up Italian sausages and potato salad and welcomed 22 local seniors for a great meal and even better company.
This week we were happy to support Nelson Italian-Canadian Society by purchasing sausage from their recent fundraiser, and it was extra special to share that meal with some of the Italian community members who join us regularly 💛
That’s what community is all about… showing up for each other in different ways.
Our Seniors Social Meal is open to any senior (registration required), and we always love seeing new faces. Programs like this continue thanks to people coming together, sharing, and supporting in whatever ways they can.
