📚🌊 This Coming Week at the Library! 🌊📚

We have a fun-filled week planned, and we can’t wait to see you!

🧠 Tuesday – Brain Busters Homework Club
4:30–6:30 PM (Drop-In)
Looking for a quiet place to study for exams, catch up on assignments, or even answer a few work emails? Stop by the library! We offer free Wi-Fi, plenty of workspace, and a welcoming environment to help you stay productive.

🎨 Wednesday – Under the Sea Colouring Challenge 4:30-6:30pm
We still have lots of our awesome ocean-themed colouring pages available! Help us decorate the library for our summer Under the Sea Extravaganza by picking up a colouring sheet and returning your masterpiece.

Colouring pages can be found:
• On our library bulletin board located to the right of the doors when you arrive
• Inside the library during open hours

Completed pages can be returned in our drop box located on the library door. Be sure to grab one before you leave school!

📖 Ongoing Book Sale
Our book sale is still happening during library hours:
• Tuesday & Wednesday: 4:00–7:00 PM
• Saturday: 12:00–3:00 PM

Browse our wonderful selection of books, or take advantage of our Fill-a-Bag Sale for just $5.00! You never know what amazing reads you’ll discover.

👨‍👧 Saturday – Father’s Day Craft Time
1:00–2:30 PM

Join us as we create a special handprint keepsake for Dad or another special person in your life. This heartfelt craft will make the perfect keepsake to display at home.

There has been a special change to our June calendar!

Join us on Saturday, June 13th from 1:00–2:30 PM for a special Father’s Day Craft Time. We’ll be celebrating all the amazing dads, grandpas, and father figures in our lives by creating a heartfelt keepsake they can treasure for years to come. 💙

Please note that this craft may get a little messy, so we recommend dressing accordingly.

Are you looking for something fun to do this weekend or next? Why not stop by the library and borrow our Regional Park Pass and head out on an adventure!

The pass provides free access to ANY Saskatchewan provincial park, making it a great way to explore the outdoors, enjoy nature, and create lasting memories with family and friends.

The pass is available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be borrowed with a valid library card. Holds cannot be placed on the pass, but there is no limit to how many times you can borrow it throughout the season, provided it is available.

Pop into the library and start planning your next adventure today!

We would like to send a huge thank you to the Saskatchewan Library Association (SLA), SaskTel , SaskCulture, and Sask Lotteries for approving us for a Summer Programming Grant to support our Mad Scientists Program!

Starting in July, this grant will help cover material costs and allow us to provide exciting hands-on science activities that are both educational and fun. From experiments and discoveries to creative learning opportunities, participants will enjoy a summer full of scientific adventures, all leading up to a special end-of-summer celebration for the whole family, details to follow.

We are incredibly grateful for this support and are so excited to share all the amazing activities we have planned for our Mad Scientists Program, beginning July 8th.

Stay tuned for more details—we can’t wait to explore, experiment, and discover with you this summer!

We’re getting some pretty amazing artwork back to help decorate the library for our Under the Sea theme this summer! 🌊🐠🦀

A huge thank you to everyone who has already returned their colouring sheets and creations. We love seeing all the creativity and imagination that’s gone into them!

Keep them coming! You can pick up a colouring sheet inside the library or from our new bulletin board located right as you enter the library. Once you’ve finished your masterpiece, return it to us and help transform the library into an underwater adventure for the summer.

We can’t wait to see what you create next! 🐙🐳🐟✨

🌞 Join us this Saturday from 1:00–2:30 PM for some outdoor fun at the library!

We’ll be taking advantage of the beautiful weather with a variety of outdoor activities, including bubbles, sidewalk chalk, hula hoops, and rope toss games. It’s the perfect opportunity for children to get active, have fun, and enjoy some fresh air with friends.

Bring your energy and get ready for an afternoon of laughter and play! Weather permitting.
