Today marks an important milestone for the Nisga’a Nation.
Our Ksi Lisims LNG project has signed an agreement with Germany’s SEFE — and will be the first Canadian project to supply LNG to a European buyer.
As President Eva Clayton shared, the agreement shows that the world is looking to us – First Nations, and Canadians – for reliable and responsible energy solutions.
Ksi Lisims LNG reflects Nisga’a values — building opportunity for our people while protecting our land and meeting climate goals.
It's exciting to see that our low-carbon, Indigenous co-development model is gaining recognitions as far away as Germany.
Today's agreement is a win-win-win:
