SAYING GOODBYE TO CADEN!
On Friday we said goodbye to our summer student, Caden MacDonald, and while we’re excited for what’s ahead for him, we’re definitely going to miss having him around!
Caden has been exceptional over the past few months. Always willing to jump in and help, always ready with a smile, and never afraid to tackle whatever needed to be done. From stocking shelves and keeping things organized to helping clients and lending a hand wherever he was needed, Caden brought energy, kindness and dedication to everything he did.
He truly became part of our foodbank family, and we’re so grateful for all the time, effort and positive energy he shared with us. ❀️
Thank you, Caden, for being such an amazing part of our team!
We’ll miss your smiling face and your willingness to help β€” but we’re cheering you on as you head back to university!
Good luck, Caden! We know you’re going to do great things!

A Heartfelt Thank You to St. John the Baptist Parish!

We would like to send a huge thank you to St. John the Baptist Parish for their generous donation of much-needed items to support babies and mothers. (This year the parish donated $860 for this initiative!)

The CWL also generously contributed extra diapers to this year’s donation.

We are so grateful for this wonderful annual gift and for the continued kindness and support of the parish and CWL. Your generosity makes a real difference to local moms, babies and families.

Thank you for thinking of moms and little ones in our community!

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Nova Scotia Realtors Association for organizing and hosting a food drive to support Pictou County Foodbank East

A special thank you to the local retailers who allowed collection sites at their locations and supported this initiative. Your cooperation was instrumental in making the food drive a success.

And, most importantly, thank you to the wonderful people of our community who stopped by, donated food, gave cash, and helped support this important cause. Your generosity truly makes a difference.

Together, we collected more than 250 pounds of food and over $400 in cash donations

These contributions will help support individuals and families in our community who are facing food insecurity.
