Backpacks for Kids wraps up at the end of the month and we still need your help to make sure students in Pictou County starts the year prepared and confident.

Drop off backpacks, school supplies, or monetary donations at

You can also support the drive by donating today at unitedwaymaritimes.ca or the link in our bio. Just select the Pictou County office and note "Backpacks for Kids" so your gift goes towards this campaign!

Do you provide care for a child or adult with a disability and need support in finding a reliable respite provider? Northern Region Respite Services can help.

Through their program under the direction of Highland Community Residential Services, families and individuals in Pictou County can access their free services, which will match you with a respite provider and provide you with the tools and support you need to navigate available funding.
