What is the Human Rights Remedy?
It is a human rights decision that requires Nova Scotia to transform disability supports so people with disabilities can live good lives in their communities, with the right supports and real choices.
The Remedy recognizes systemic discrimination against people with disabilities in Nova Scotia. It calls for meaningful change so people can choose where and how they live, with the supports they need.
Inclusion means ordinary homes, real relationships, and full lives in community.
