Pictou County Hike Club will be guiding a 7.6km hike at Fitzpatrick Mountain on Sunday, September 20 starting at 10:00 a.m. This is a great opportunity to join us and explore even more of these mountain trails.

Date: Sunday, September 20, 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Location: Fitzpatrick Mountain (Meet at the Scotsburn Recreation Club Parking Lot 4114 Scotsburn Road, Scotsburn)
Distance: 7.6km (approximately 2-2.5hours)

Earlier today Pictou County Hike Club wrapped up our Summer Guided Hike Series on the Fitzpatrick Mountain Trail with a great group of hikers… and 19 of them earned the new Pictou County Hiker Challenge Badge 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the summer, explored some of Pictou County’s beautiful trails and made each hike so much fun. 💚

Stay tuned for more adventures coming this September and into the fall! 😎

Hike Nova Scotia and Active Pictou County are happy to announce the relaunch of the Pictou County Hiker Challenge badge, with a new look and new trails, in partnership with New Glasgow, Stellarton, Westville, Trenton, Pictou, Pictou Landing First Nation and the Municipality of Pictou County.
