Meet Arthur!
Cats: Well Matched
Dogs: No, thanks
Kids: Older, maybe
This regal gentleman was found as a stray when he arrived at a home significantly underweight and ravenous. Fortunately, the people he walked up to recognized that he needed help and called us immediately. He has done a wonderful job at gaining weight since being with us, but will likely always be a thin boy and will require some supplemental medical care to keep him in tip top condition.
Even at 16 years old, Arthur still has tons of love to give. He will greet you as soon as he sees you (he may see you before he hears you) with his sweet, subdued purrs only an esteemed gentleman can provide. He will be a quiet companion that would love a relaxed home he can reign over.
He has been sharing his quarters with his new senior buddy, Marty, which he seems to quite enjoy. Arthur would likely do well with any gentle, appropriate cat and wouldn’t be opposed to sharing his last years with his new bud. While Arthur would be safe to live with children, he is fragile in his advanced age and would not do well with rough handling so only older children/teens that understand to be gentle could be okay.
Arthur is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and flea-treated. He has also been SNAP tested, testing negative. He is now ready to leave shelter life behind and find his forever home! Could yours be Sir Arthur Richard Parker's forever home? For Arthur, we are also open to a forever foster arrangement - please contact us for details.
If you're looking for a sweet, social, handsome companion who is ready to start his next chapter, Arthur would love to meet you!
