On Monday, June 1, Kirsty Havard (Regional Vice-President, Union of Safety & Justice Employees) and Jennifer Whiteside (Member of BC Legislative Assembly) delivered 1,500 pairs of socks donated by the Union of Safety and Justice Employees (USJE).

Fresh socks are critical in maintaining foot health for our unhoused neighbours, saving trips to the Hospital.

We are excited to recognize Vancity New Westminster Branch for their generous $2,000 contribution to the New West Youth Hub.

Today, Executive Director, Eric Osmond, had the opportunity to meet with the branch team to share more about the agency and the Youth Hub.

Special thanks to Assistant Branch Manager Cigdem Gogtas and the rest of the team for supporting youth-focused services and opportunities in our community. Together, we are helping create brighter futures for young people in New Westminster.
