For Franca’s family, Margaret Bahen Hospice became a place of comfort, compassion and connection during an incredibly difficult time.

Since then, Franca's family has continued to honour her memory and give back to the hospice that supported them. They have participated in Hike for Hospice twice and will be joining us for Handbags for Hospice this year.

Stories like Franca’s remind us of the lasting impact hospice care can have, not only for those receiving care, but for the families who continue to carry their loved ones’ memories forward.

Our story stretches back more than five decades. Since 1969, Better Living has continued to grow alongside the changing needs of the communities we serve.

Over the years, new programs and services have been introduced, partnerships have grown, and our reach has expanded to support adults and seniors at different stages of their care journey.
